D-DAY: A TIME TO REMEMBER Since the patriots at Google have decided to commerate the birthday of a Spanish painter on this date, The Real World chose to go a different route and remember those who fought and sacraficed on the anniversary of one of the most signifcant dates in American history.
There is little that can be added to the remarks made by President Ronald Reagan in his speech on this subject delivered at the site on the 40th anniversary of the beginning of the Allied Forces advance to take back the continent of Europe and free our fellow men and women from the tyranny of Nazism.
Listen, watch and remember.
[You might also want to consider using a search engine other than Google from now on as well.]
You are quite right about both Reagan and Google. I have been at odds with Google for a little while now. Not only are they ignoring important dates to remember, they are actively working against Christian activity on their service. I abandoned my blog over at blogspot and am currently looking to move all my dealings with Google to other services. Its a hard adjustment, but I'm going through with it. Thanks for the encouragement to continue in my condemnation of Google's bias and promotion of ignorance.
Judge Bob, I have adopted Wordpress for all future blogs though I have not converted my work one to it yet (still on Blogger). It is possible to be Google-free, but then if you use the Yahoo! search engine, bear in mind that they acted against freedom-loving Chinese inside Red China and gave their details to the Red Army. The company caused innocent Chinese to be jailed. I suggest Gigablast as an alternative search engine (a pretty good one, considering it’s run by one guy) or even MSN Search (I found the index to be pretty comprehensive). I refer to June 6, every year, as D-Day. Fewer people seem to get what I mean as each year passes.
I think you missed an important quote. The LAUSD Teachers Union (Ca.) called for a strike to celebrate D-Day. Quote: "We are out here (picket line) for the kids." I'm just wondering to myself....I wonder if any of the teachers or students knew it was D-Day. Just a Thought

JudgeBob-
Thanks for standing on principle.

Unfortunately, many do not.
